Tuition & Admission
Riviera United Methodist Preschool (R.U.M.P.) is in session from September to June and follows Torrance Unified School District Holiday Schedule. We offer a part-time preschool program at affordable rates. We have a free nursery for younger siblings.

Admission Requirements
R.U.M.P. is a community school and is open to all children meeting the admission requirements below. We welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds.
- All children should be 3 years of age by December 2nd of that school year
- All children must be toilet trained prior to commencing at R.U.M.P.
- All paperwork and fees must be returned in order to secure your child’s placement at R.U.M.P.
Please note that enrollment is on a first come-first-served basis and we are a small school and numbers are limited. Children may be placed on a wait list if our numbers are at capacity.
Tour Information
At R.U.M.P. we offer individual or small group tours of our facility so that you and your child can meet our teachers and director, working parents, kids and see our preschool in action.
Our comprehensive and personalized tours are provided by our Membership Chair (parent volunteer) and arranged on an individual basis in order to enable both parent and child to attend the tour whenever possible.
