Testimonials

Sending our child to school for the first time was definitely anxiety-provoking on so many levels. One thing we love about R.U.M.P. is that we’re able to participate and be hands-on, in and out of the school. It’s like having training wheels— for him and for us! We really appreciate the connection that our child and our whole family has made with the teachers at R.U.M.P. Such a wonderful experience to help boost our son’s confidence about school and learning in general.
— Melissa
It’s been a blessing to be part of my child’s education and growth. R.U.M.P. allows this amazing experience and we are so grateful for that.
— Oliver
My son is in his second year attending R.U.M.P. preschool. In this short two years, I have seen such an amazing growth with my son. Not only academically, but emotionally. My son has gained self confidence, learned to be a leader, he has made some incredible friends and learned what friendship is. My son is extremely fond of his teacher Ms. Michelle. She has played a crucial part of my son’s early years of life. She has brought such brightness to all of the families that join the school. Year after year, her devotion to our kids has been a blessing, a special gift that’s rare to find in most schools. What can my little family say... we love our little school. And our Ms. Michelle.
— Jessica
Participating in R.U.M.P. allowed my son to develop much-needed academic and social skills while also allowing us to continue spending time together. Working in the classroom allowed me to watch him develop and grow and see his pride as he learned new skills. R.U.M.P. gave us a real sense of community and allowed us both to develop friendships and get to know other families.
— Marshelle
I love Ms Michelle and playing with my friends.
— Henry, aged 4
We toured several preschools before we found R.U.M.P. We had no idea that finding a clean, play-based preschool with fun development activities was going to be a challenge, but we were pleased to find the amazing program at R.U.M.P. Great teachers, great parents, and amazing kids — we love it!
— Christa
R.U.M.P. has given my two daughters a loving and creative place in their childhood, with lots of fun and playful events surrounded by their friends. As a mother, I also learned a lot by being in the classroom with other children, their parents and especially from Ms. Michelle, mostly by watching and trying out new things.

We are blessed to have met so many amazing families and have had so many unforgettable moments. Thank you for those wonderful years.
— Manuela
At school I have my best friend Nathan and I ride bikes.
— Finley, aged 3
For me, the co-op format forges a deep trust between my family and the school. When it’s my work day, I get a complete picture of how my daughter is thriving at school, and it gives her more confidence on days I drop her off.
— Rachel
My family was blessed to have spent four years at R.U.M.P. as we put both of our daughters through the preschool. I can’t imagine preschool being any other way. I am so grateful to have spent the time with my girls and their friends. The Pre-K program is remarkable. Both girls entered Kindergarten well-prepared and in the highest reading level for their classes. R.U.M.P. is a great introduction to school and fosters a love of learning. The parent participation model also establishes education as a family experience, not solely an institutional experience. Now that my girls are older, I cherish my time at R.U.M.P. even more. The time moves so quickly, enjoy that first school chapter with your child.
— Erin
My favorite thing about R.U.M.P. is puzzles.
— Vanessa, aged 4
This is the first school experience for my 4-year-old and I couldn’t be more pleased! She LOVES R.U.M.P. and is sad when it’s not a school day! Ms. Michelle and Ms. Denielle are so patient with the children and truly love their jobs! Working in the classroom a couple days a month is fun and having the free Nursery for my 4-month-old during my parent work day is beyond helpful! We love R.U.M.P.!!!
— Sara
R.U.M.P. offers our family the perfect balance between play and structure, and self expression and guidance. Ms. Michelle recognizes my children as individuals and has created a fun and creative curriculum in which my children are thriving. I love that R.U.M.P. is a parent participation preschool. I love knowing what is happening at school and watching my children develop friendships, learn new skills, and explore the world around them. As a parent I have learned so much from Ms. Michelle, Ms. Denielle, and other parents. My children have the best start possible, and I am a better parent because of R.U.M.P.

What I love most about R.U.M.P. is playing.
— Bryce, aged 3
My daughter has attended R.U.M.P. for two years now and I could not be happier with her progress. Friends and family have remarked on how much she has grown socially and intellectually since she began school. I love being able to be in the classroom with her to witness first-hand all the fun the children have while learning. I love R.U.M.P and plan on enrolling my son when he’s ready for preschool as well!
— Sarah
I like best that I get to play with my friends and make projects. I love my teachers, they are the best teachers ever in the world.
— Leia, aged 4
I am over the moon with our experience at R.U.M.P. Our daughter is thriving in this program and this is the happiest I have ever seen her! She genuinely looks forward to each school day and can’t wait to talk about what she learned, who she played with, and what art project she completed at the end of every day. She loves her teacher and her peers, as do I!

As a mother all I have ever wanted is for my daughter to be happy and to thrive. We have found that. But I never imagined that I would also find a community in which I would also thrive and grow. I look forward to school drop off to see other parents and connect with them. I’m eager to work in the classroom and see the daily workings of the classroom. I’m excited by the potentially life-long friendships that our entire family is forming with the other families in the school!

We love this close knit, creative, stimulating classroom and community!
— Meghan
R.U.M.P. has been such a wonderful experience for our family. My son has grown so much emotionally, socially and academically since he has started and I love that I can share this experience with him. The teachers are great - patient, encouraging and provide a fun and resourceful atmosphere for learning. So proud to be a part of the R.U.M.P. family and highly recommend this school.
— Letty
I love school! I love Ms Michelle! Playing is fun!
— Tyler, aged 4
Our kids love going to school and they love Ms. Michelle. It’s a wonderful balance between play and structure for our kids.
— Sarah
I’m thrilled to have found a preschool that is truly developmental in all aspects, especially social and emotional expectations from the teachers. Ms. Michelle and Ms. Denielle come alongside the children and support them through navigating their feelings and relationships. As a co-op, the parents learn this way of interacting with children as well, and to me that is priceless.
— Lacey
R.U.M.P. is truly a wonderful preschool, whilst its philosophy is ‘learn through play’ Ms. Michelle provides the children with a solid curriculum. This is our second year and I am impressed with the additional Pre-K program, which is teaching my son the important skills needed for his kindergarten year. We will be returning with my daughter who loves going to “school” a.k.a. the R.U.M.P. nursery.
— Emily
My favorite thing about R.U.M.P. is being with my friends.
— Sarah, aged 4
My family has had such a great experience this year at R. U. M. P. My daughter has learned to play well with her peers, learned her letters and numbers, and so many other valuable lessons. Ms. Michelle is a great teacher who really loves and cares for her students. It has been really wonderful to work in the classroom and see how my daughter is doing and have the opportunity to participate in her learning. We have loved being part of the R. U. M. P. family!
— Adrianna
I like playing with my friends and finding bugs.
— Abby, aged 5
R.U.M.P.’s facility is a big reason I chose this school, over many others in the South Bay. I love the large outdoor space the most. The kids have tons of time outside to let their imaginations run wild. They are having a blast whether they’re finding treasures in the sand box or playing on the fire engine!
— Nate
As a former preschool teacher myself, I had a high standard for where I wanted my daughter to go. I knew R.U.M.P. was the place for us after a 30 minute visit. I couldn’t believe it! And my daughter has learned and grown so much more than I expected in a very short amount of time.
— Alyssa
My wife and I have two kids and we wanted to be part of a fun and enriching community of families and teachers. For us, R.U.M.P. is the best preschool in the South Bay. It has a nursery for infants while you work and a variety of amazing activities for the preschoolers each day. We love R.U.M.P.!
